John Wayne Day

Every year around Duke’s birthday, May 26, John Wayne: An American Experience hosts John Wayne Day. This year will feature appearances by members of the family, hat branding, chain stitching, Gold Handle Coffee and Duke Spirits tastings, book signings, photo opportunities, and more, including the unveiling of the museum’s new expansion.

9-11 a.m. Enjoy donuts and Gold Handle Coffee

12-3 p.m. Duke Spirits and Wayne Family Estates wine tastings

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Movies on the lawn, each introduced by a member of the Wayne family. Donations will benefit the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.
