John Wayne Day

Every year around Duke’s birthday, May 26, John Wayne: An American Experience hosts John Wayne Day. This year will feature appearances by members of the family, hat branding, chain stitching, Gold Handle Coffee and Duke Spirits tastings, book signings, photo opportunities, and more, including the unveiling of the museum’s new expansion.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Games, corn hole, dummy roping, chain stitching, live music, and Gold Handle Coffee and Duke Spirits tastings

4-7 p.m. Special ticketed event with the Wayne family featuring hat branding, chain stitching, Gold Handle Coffee and Duke Spirits tastings, book signings, photo opportunities, and the unveiling of the exhibit’s new expansion! When purchasing tickets, select “May 25 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM” to attend—this time slot is valid for the entire event.
